The Dining Traveler Guide to Puerto Rico takes the reader on a journey across ‘La Isla del Encanto’ with stunning photographs of the island, its people, and its food. The North, East, South, West and Center of the Island, as well as San Juan and the outer isles of Vieques and Culebra, are featured in separate chapters. With interviews of chefs like José Andrés and other food and hospitality personalities, the book shows the diverse landscapes of the island, its people, and the boricua cuisine. The Dining Traveler Guide to Puerto Rico is produced by a predominantly Latino team (author Jessica van Dop deJesus, editor Nina Alvarez, and award-winning photo journalist Italo Morales) as well as talented Italian graphic designer Federica Ricci.

About the author: Jessica van Dop DeJesus is the founder and editor of the popular travel and food website, The Dining Traveler. She was raised in a small town called Guayama, Puerto Rico, spending her elementary and middle school years on the island. While a college student at the State University of New York, she also studied Spanish Literature at the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón. With many friends and family still in Puerto Rico, she has traveled often and extensively across the island. Jessica has traveled all over the world, having visited more than fifty countries and having lived in six. After many years of traveling, she still considers Puerto Rico her favorite place on earth. It was imperative to her to publish her first travel book about a place that is so close to her heart.
